Sandstorm in Saudi Arabia

While living in Saudi Arabia, I have encountered a natural phenomenon several times which I never experienced before. People living in middle east are quite familiar with it. Yup, sand storms – which are quite common here and could be as frequent as once in a month.

If You Want to Pray Inside Kaaba

Hazrat Aisha (RA) – wife of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) – narrates, “When I expressed the wish to perform salah (prayer) within the Kaabah, the Prophet (PBUH) took me by the hand and led me into the Hijr (Hateem) where he said, ‘Perform salah (prayer) here if you wish to enter the Kaabah because this is part of the Baytullah.’”

Spiritual Visit to Holy City of Makkah

Visiting Makkah and Madinah, the two most sacred places in Islam, are life time desires for every Muslim.

I feel myself really blessed that I got a chance to live for several years in close proximity of these two cities.

Few years back, I got a job offer from an engineering company based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The company was located in Jeddah; the second largest city of kingdom. The fact that Makkah was just at an hour drive (approx. 100 km)  from Jeddah and
